China’s domestic bauxite consumption was 54.2 mln t during the first seven months of 2019, a slide of 5% compared with the same period of last year, with 7.07 mln t in July, down 3% on-month and down 12.2% on-year.
The data shows that in July consumption of domestic bauxite was 3.27 mln t in Shanxi, down 2.7% on-month; 1.38 mln t in Henan, flat compared with June; 1.23 mln t in Guangxi, down 3.2% on-month; and 830 kt in Guizhou, down 3.5% on-month.
