China Customs: China imported 12.38 kt of tin ore and concentrates in June, 11.44 kt of which was from Burma, accounting, for 92% of the national total. Other tin ore and concentrate imports were 313 t from Malaysia, 60 t from Australia and 27 t from Laos in June.
China imported 21.4 kt of tin ore and concentrates (in tin metal) from Burma in H1 2019, down 28% on-year. Meanwhile, China’s total tin ore and concentrate imports are estimated at 23.9 kt (in tin metal), down 20% on-year.
